Possibly one of the most recognized and significant design movements worldwide, the Mid-Century Modern palette pays homage to the iconic works from creatives of this era. This palette brings together inspiration from the International and Bauhaus movements as well as the clean-lined aesthetic from Brazilian and Scandinavian designers who promoted simplicity and an effort to connect interior environments with the outdoors. The finishes and materials are practical, functional, and clean with organic curves paired with geometric forms and minimal ornamentation.
② Woodsy Midcentury
Highly contrasted and clean-lined, the West Coast Modern palette balances modern materials with rich, textural woods which softens an otherwise stark palette. Textural stone layers in additional warmth against crisp white walls and graphic black accents. Caramel undertones in the walnut creates a cozy space that balance both the modern and the traditional.
