③ Memphis Movement
Long live the 80’s shoulder pad! As a reaction against the controlled and linear aesthetic of modernism, the Memphis philosophy brought wormlike shapes, squiggles, wacky geometry, zany patterns and a jumble of colors. The Memphis Movement palette is playful, bold and unapologetic with various patterns and colors combining to create a dynamic, energetic space. This post-modern departure creates a space that is memorable and hopefully, raises a few eyebrows.
④ Palm Springs
Once a retreat for the Rat Pack, Palm Springs has made a resurgence with a growing culinary scene, endless shopping outlets, and stylish hotels. Spirited and vibrant, the palette merges together Mid-Century Modern design with quirky, bold pops of color. The neutral finish and material palette contrast soft beachy hues against playful wallpapers and graphic tiles that speak to the era of design. The Palm Springs palette transports you to the desert and into a pool, complete with donut floaties and slushy cocktails.

Inspired by the Pop Art movement that peaked in the ‘60’s, this Palette pays homage to American artists like Lichtenstein + Warhol, who became leading figures in popularizing the parody, repetition, bold colors and celebrity culture. The Pop Art palette, with black and white as a base, is graphic and punctuated with vivid “pops" of red, pink and yellow.
